What a load of bullshit

Wed Oct 28, 2009, 8:48 PM

Going to this guy's page makes me the angriest I've been at someone's art in a long time. Way to exploit missing children for your shitty paintings and shitty "art is about courage" crap. That pseudo-philosophical New Age-y Tibetan bullshit journal entry just adds to it.

Ugh. It just makes me want to puke all over his paintings, although it's not like you'd be able to tell.

Even though you seem decently, well... gone, I'm still going to watch you.

Because your Dan/Herbert shit is freaking adorable and wonderful and sexy and guh- all rolled into a glowing neon-green ball.

...
Pardon me, ahaha.

Ahem. *holds up boombox over head playing "The Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John* Dr. Worm...I want to thank you. Thank you for paving the way for the Lietro-lovers of tomorrow with your stories and pictures from the past. I, but a child among legends, crawled around the X-Men Evo community bewildered and lost, roaming from website to website looking for art and stories for my newest favorite fandom. I was young and impressionable then, and highly involved with Scance. Upon searching through various sites I found your work. Your. Glorious. Work. And your love of Lietro intrigued me and fascinated me. I read every piece of Lietro fanfiction you publicly posted, saw every sketch and drawing that I could find. You, I remember, were one of the great pillars of the Lietro community. One of the greats. Your picture of Pietro and Lance dancing together is quite possibly the sole creation that cemented my mini-obsession with dancing Lietro.

Now our community is small. And I stand the product of the love you and the others once had. And I wanted to thank you. You and all the great Lietro-lovers who defined a pairing and defined the strange little creature that is me. Thank you for your love and your talent...for without it, I would have none.

*humbly bows*

~Cause we all end up in a tiny pine box
A mighty small drop in a mighty dark plot
And the mighty fine print hastens the trip to our epilogue~
